Facebook is reported to be testing floating video view, much like the floating video feature on the YouTube android app yet this won't be for the Facebook app but rather the desktop site, this will allow you to browse you Facebook news feed while the video plays in a floating view on the same page.
Majority of users have already started getting the updated video player, if you don't have it yet you probably won't have to wait long cause they seem to be rolling it out fast, Facebook seems keen to improve the video playing capabilities of it's site which currently blocks your whole screen and you have to open a new window or tab to browse your news feed along with watching the video, this new update is much appreciated you can activate the floating view via a button built next to full screen option button and again if you don't have the button yet you'll get it pretty soon.
