New Microsoft Windows phones...

If you're anything like one of our authors aka Zain than you're probably skipping the current Nokia lumia handsets so you can buy a Microsoft branded handset (lol jk he's broke as f##k!) well in that case you're in luck. Renders of two different Microsoft smartphones have been leaked by the famous @Evleaks known as cityman and talkman, with cityman being the larger of the two in cyan colour and talkman being the smaller black one but there will definitely be more options available in terms of colors for both of the handsets as they are lumias after all. Source Evleaks Both handsets are rumored to have 3GB Ram, 32GB storage, Qhd screens (5.7 being the screen size for cityman and 5.2 for talkman) both might support 5MP front camera yet we don't know about the back cameras. Cityman will also support Microsoft continuum and both will have a USB type c port. Now with that said keep in mind all this can change as these are merely leaks and rumors but conside...

Want a tablet with a massive battery? Try the G Pad 2 10.1 maybe?

Image Source LG is offering a 10.1" tablet with a massive 7400 mAh battery yes you heard that right it's an enormous battery even more than what some power banks offer now combine that with a 1080p screen instead of a 2k one and this thing could last you 2 or 3 days on heavy to normal use with a single charge. The full specs of the G-Pad 2 are a Quad Core 2.6 snapdragon processor, 2 Gb Ram, 16 Gb in built storage, Micro Sd expansion, a 1080p full HD screen and of course that whooping 7400 MAh battery, a 5 mp camera on the rear and a 2 mp front selfish snapper. Now we all know tablet sales are in a decline as your smartphones can do almost anything that your tablet can and people prefer convertibles even more now specially the likes of Surface pro which can offer full desktop productive environment but this long lasting battery of the G-Pad 2 might just make it worth while.

With a great first episode Coke Studio has finally bridged the gap created by season 6.

There is no doubt that music has always been a silver lining for our culture, art and film industry. Whether it was the Golden Age of 60s, collapse under Zia’s regime of forced Islamization or introduction of ‘Gandasa’ Culture by Maula Jutt, one thing kept evolving and it was our music industry. Ahmed Rushdi, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Nazia Hassan, Junoon, Ali Zafar, Strings and the list goes on. However in 2008 the music industry was finally rewarded with the platform of Coke Studio, Pakistan’s first of its kind music television series. Initially produced by Rohail Hyatt, the founder of Vital Signs, the show climbed to great heights with songs like Alif Allah by Arif Lohar and Messha Shafi and Garaj Barras by Ali Azmat and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The critical response was so overwhelming that it evolved into an international franchise introducing an Indian and Arab versions of the same format, though never of the same appeal.  After five successful seasons Coke Studio Pakist...

Is improvement better than innovation? A review of 3 most important Windows 10 universal apps.

Satya Nadella’s long term plan is to use the market share of Windows OS to attract developers to write universal apps that will work across all Microsoft platforms like Windows Phone, Xbox and HoloLens; thus bridging the app gap that Microsoft’s eco-system faces today. Therefore, moving in line with the strategy, all the major apps that were a part of Windows 8 have been updated with universal framework. These include: Store, Mail, Weather, Calendar, OneNote, Photos, People, News, Money and the all new Movies & TV, Groove Music, Xbox and Microsoft Solitaire Collection. However after 3 weeks of living with Windows 10 we found the following three apps to be most significant. Store The revamped Store application is a clear indication of the fact that Microsoft now has ‘more than enough’ applications for its Windows platform. Even though you can still sort down applications using either genre, price or popularity, however, to improve user experience the Store now...

Satya Nadella congratulates Sundar Pichai

The well known CEO of Microsoft reached out to twitter to congratulate the new Google CEO Sundar Pichai in a tweet which reads. "Congrats @SundarPichai well deserved!" Nadella himself had very optimistic opinions about him when he became the CEO of Microsoft, though Pichai doesn't have a very big rebuilding job as Nadella did with Microsoft he is well capable of taking Google to new heights as we have seen him as head of Android and Google glass. Pichai replied with tweet saying thanks "@SatyaNadella thanks for the wishes:)" The two CEOs had this exchange of tweets in a very professional way yet appeared as comfortable as if they did it more often than not.  Hopefully with Pichai as the new CEO of Google we will see Google develope apps such as Gmail and Google map for Windows 10 and that we will see much more integration between the two tech giants specially when Microsoft is bringing its apps such as Office and Cortana to Android...

Xperia C5 Ultra could be your dream bezel-less phone

last week Sony announced the near bezel-less C5 Ultra, now before we jump further you should know the whole bezel-less thing only applies to its side bezels the top and bottom ones are big while the top one is actually huge, we don't particularly find complete bezel-less phones easy to use but some people actually do so if less bezel size and more screen space is your forte than this phone might interest you, also note that the top bezel is large for a good reason it house's the 13 MP selfie camera . The C5 Ultra is set to launch on 14th august for $425 the price and availability could vary in other countries. C5 Ultra runs on a Mediatek 1.7 Ghz  Octa core procesor, offer's a 6" full 1080p screen, 13 MP camera both at the front and back, 2 GB Ram, 16 GB internal storage, SD card slot and a 2930 mah battery, all in a very sleek body which still is plastic though but looks good with the Xperia design language. Oh and colour options are mint green, black and white. ...
